PEPPER PIKE, OH- The Orange girls basketball team opened Wednesday’s matchup with promise, battling West Geauga to a 10–10 tie after the first quarter. Isla Osterman provided the early spark for the Lions, scoring 6 of her game-high 9 points in the opening frame to keep Orange neck-and-neck with the Wolverines.

Despite steady effort throughout the second half, the Lions were unable to overcome the deficit, ultimately falling 49–26.
