Schartman, Nguyen Secure Top Honors at WRA Dubs

HUDSON, OH- Members of the Orange JV tennis team competed Saturday at the end of season WRA doubles invitational. Taking first place in the tournament's top bracket were freshmen Abi Nguyen and Olivia Schartman with a convincing 6-2 win over Mayfield in the finals!
Nguyen and Schartman were fortunate to make the gold medal match as they fought off a match point in group play against WRA. In that match the young Lions came from 4-5 down to win 7-5 and secure their place in the gold medal match.
The doubles invitational caps off a stellar season for Orange JV. The team is now 8-2 on the season!
