Orange Lions Fall Late to Bolles School, 59–52

AKRON, OH- The Orange Lions put together a strong first half but couldn’t hold off a second-half surge from the Bolles School (Florida), falling 59–52 in a hard-fought contest.
The Lions came out sharp and took an early 10–8 lead at the end of the first quarter. Their momentum carried into the second, as they extended the advantage to 21–11 before heading into halftime with a solid 29–24 lead.
Bolles responded after the break, tightening the defense and finding rhythm on offense in the third quarter. The comeback effort paid off as Bolles edged ahead 44–42 by the end of the period, flipping the game’s momentum.
In the fourth quarter, Bolles continued to press and steadily built its lead, holding off the Lions’ attempts to rally and closing out the seven-point victory.
Jaylhin Sheppard led the Orange Lions with 14 points, while Dillon Mathur added 12 points in the loss. Despite the outcome, the Lions showed resilience and competitiveness throughout, especially in a strong first-half performance.
