Orange Lions Drop Back-to-Back Games, Look Ahead to Sunday Matchup

The Orange Lions basketball team endured a tough weekend, falling in consecutive games against Shaw and Hawken on Friday and Saturday nights.

On Friday, the Lions struggled to keep pace with Shaw, dropping a 59–45 decision. Despite the loss, Orange showed flashes of competitiveness, led by Alex McCulloch, who paced the team with eight points.

Saturday proved to be another challenging night as the Lions fell to Hawken, 72–32. McCulloch once again led the way for Orange, scoring a team-high 14 points in the defeat.

With the weekend behind them, the Lions will look to regroup quickly. Orange is set to travel to Garfield Heights on Sunday to face Richmond Heights, with tip-off scheduled for 12:45 p.m. The matchup provides the Lions with an opportunity to bounce back and gain momentum as they continue their season.
