Orange Gymnastics Competes at Solon

SOLON, OH- The Orange gymnastics team traveled to Solon on Friday night for a competitive meet, highlighted by several strong individual performances across all four events.

Aya Sayah turned in a solid all-around effort, earning an 8.25 on the vault, a 7.1 on the bars, an 8.05 on the beam, and a 7.5 on the floor exercise. Her consistency helped set the tone for the Lions throughout the night.

Dylan Oakley also contributed across the board, posting a 7.3 on vault, a 5.45 on bars, a 7.15 on beam, and a 7.4 on floor exercise. Oakley’s floor routine was one of her strongest performances of the meet.

Miriam Claypool delivered one of the top scores of the evening for Orange, recording an 8.25 on the beam. She added a 7.9 on vault, a 7.15 on bars, and a 7.25 on floor exercise to round out a strong showing.

The Lions will look to build on these performances as they continue their season in upcoming meets.
