Orange Girls Soccer Battles to 1-1 Draw with Beachwood

BEACHWOOD, OH- The Orange girls soccer team played a hard-fought match against Beachwood, ending in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night.

The Lions struck first, taking a 1-0 lead in the first half thanks to a perfectly placed corner kick by Natalie Abruzzo, who found the back of the net to put Orange ahead. The goal gave the Lions momentum going into halftime, with a solid defensive effort helping them preserve the lead through the opening 40 minutes.

In the second half, Orange worked to hold off the Bison, but Beachwood found the equalizer about 10 minutes after the break. Despite chances on both ends, neither team could break the deadlock as time expired.

With the tie, Orange continues to build on a competitive season, showing strong effort on both ends of the field.
