Orange Boys Soccer Falls to Howland, 3-0

WARREN, OH- The Orange Lions boys soccer team battled hard Tuesday night but came up short against a strong Howland Tigers squad, falling 3-0 in a tough non-conference matchup.

Howland struck first with the only goal of the first half, taking a 1-0 lead into the break despite a solid defensive effort from the Lions.

The Tigers wasted little time extending their lead after halftime, finding the back of the net in the opening minutes of the second half to make it 2-0. Orange continued to push for a response, but Howland’s defense held firm.

A late goal by the Tigers sealed the result, giving Howland the 3-0 win.

Despite the loss, the Lions showed flashes of strong play and will look to bounce back as they head into the next stretch of their season.
