PERRY, OH- The Orange High School boys soccer team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, overwhelming Perry 7-1 in a one-sided affair. The Lions set the tone early, storming to a 5-0 lead by halftime and never looking back.
Senior forward Evan Novak led the charge with an impressive four-goal outing, slicing through the Pirates’ defense with precision and poise. Charlie Newman, Owen Walinsky, and Anthony Spidalieri each added a goal to cap off the Lions’ offensive outburst.
The dominant first-half display gave Orange complete control, allowing them to cruise through the second half while maintaining their aggressive edge. Perry managed a lone goal late in the game, but it was far too little to mount any kind of comeback.
With the win, Orange continues to build momentum as they move deeper into the season, showcasing a potent attack and a defense that rarely lets up.
