Lions Secure First Win with Strong Showing Against Louisville

PEPPER PIKE, OH- The Orange girls lacrosse team earned its first victory of the season Thursday night, defeating Louisville 9-5 in a solid all-around performance.
The Lions were led offensively by Natalie Abruzzo, who paced the team with three goals. Layla Ross added two goals to help power the scoring attack.
Orange showcased balanced scoring throughout the lineup, with Zoey Lynch, Callyn Schreibman, Courtney Norton, and Alyse Wagenberg each finding the back of the net to round out the nine-goal effort.
With contributions across the board and a strong defensive effort to hold Louisville to five goals, the Lions put together a complete performance to capture their first win of the season.
