Lions’ Season Ends with Loss to Glenville 72-36

CLEVELAND, OH- The Orange Lions saw their season come to a close with a 72-36 loss to Glenville Tarblooders.

Glenville set the tone early, jumping out to a 14-5 lead after the first quarter. The Tarblooders continued to apply pressure in the second period, stretching their advantage to 36-16 by halftime.

Despite the deficit, the Lions showed resilience coming out of the break. Midway through the third quarter, Orange battled back and trimmed the lead to 40-23, sparking energy on the floor and in the stands. However, Glenville responded with a decisive 9-1 run to close the quarter, taking a commanding 49-24 lead into the final period.

Aaron Lewis led the way for the Lions with 10 points, battling throughout the contest against Glenville’s relentless defense.

Though the season ended short of their ultimate goal, the Lions competed until the final buzzer, closing the year with determination and pride.
