Lions Rally Late to Edge Uniontown Lake 9-8

PEPPER PIKE, OH- After a sluggish start, the Orange Lions showed resilience and determination, storming back to earn a thrilling 9-8 victory over Uniontown Lake.

The Lions found themselves trailing early but refused to back down, gradually chipping away at the deficit before taking control in the later stages of the game. Jake Ponsky led the charge offensively, netting three goals to pace the comeback effort.

Henry Vucetic matched Ponsky’s output with three goals of his own, providing a consistent scoring presence as Orange battled back into contention. Jimmy Bobeck contributed two goals and an assist, playing a key role in both finishing and facilitating the offense.

Additional scoring came from Raphael Duran and Joey Bobeck, who each added a goal to round out the Lions’ balanced attack.

Despite the early struggles, Orange’s persistence paid off as they tightened up defensively and capitalized on key opportunities down the stretch to secure the hard-fought win.
