CLEVELAND, OH- The Orange Lions girls basketball team began their season under challenging circumstances Tuesday night, taking the court with only five available players in a tough 53–11 loss to the John Marshall Lawyers.
John Marshall wasted no time seizing momentum, racing to a 24–4 lead by the end of the first quarter and maintaining control throughout the game. Despite the adversity, the Lions showed grit and determination from start to finish.
Isla Osterman led Orange with 5 points, while teammates Jada Gage, Mackenzie Mitchell, and Parker Wirick each added a basket to round out the scoring.
The Lions will look to regroup and bounce back next Tuesday when they hit the road to face Kirtland High School.
