Lions Lock Down Road Win at Wickliffe

WICKLIFFE, OH- The Orange Girls Basketball team took to the road Monday night and came away with a hard-fought 31–22 victory over Wickliffe.
Orange set the tone early, jumping out to a 7–3 lead in the first quarter by playing strong defense and limiting the Blue Devils to just three made free throws in the period. The Lions continued to build momentum in the second quarter, extending their advantage to 20–9 by halftime. Isla Osterman provided a spark, scoring five of her nine points in the quarter to help Orange take control.
The third quarter proved to be evenly matched, with both teams trading baskets and neither gaining much ground. Wickliffe tried to mount a comeback in the fourth, but Orange stayed composed. Bree Turner stepped up when it mattered most, scoring four points in the final quarter to help seal the win.
Turner led the Lions with 11 points on the night, while Osterman added nine in a balanced team effort. With strong defense and timely scoring, Orange secured a solid road victory over the Blue Devils.
