Lions Fall to Kenston 12-4 in Ice Hockey

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH- The Orange Lions ran into a powerful Kenston attack on Sunday afternoon, falling 12–4 in an ice hockey matchup highlighted by a decisive first period.

Kenston set the tone early, erupting for seven goals in the opening period to build a commanding lead and cruise to the victory. Despite the deficit, the Lions showed fight and found the net three times in the first period. Charlie Thomas, Noah Rice, and Russell Tye each scored for Orange to account for the team’s early offense.

Orange continued to battle throughout the game, and Hayes Henkel added a goal in the third period to round out the scoring for the Lions.

In net, David Dombrowski faced a heavy workload and turned in a strong individual effort, recording 44 saves despite the loss.

The Lions will look to regroup and build on their offensive flashes as they prepare for their next contest.
