Brady Middle School Swim Teams Dominate Shaker Heights in Tuesday Night Sweep

PEPPER PIKE, OH- Brady Middle School made a powerful statement in the pool on Tuesday night, sweeping Shaker Heights with decisive victories from both the girls and boys swim teams. The girls team cruised to a commanding 132–33 win, while the boys team edged out a competitive 84–78 victory.
The girls team delivered standout performances across the board. Navah Levine opened the meet strong with a win in the 200-yard freestyle (2:40.55). Iris Winkelaar shined with two victories—taking first in the 100-yard IM (1:16.09) and dominating the 400-yard freestyle (5:14.87).

Katherine Azok sprinted to wins in both the 50-yard freestyle (29.61) and the 50-yard breaststroke (36.24).

Haley Neuendorf added two more victories for Brady, winning the 50-yard butterfly (33.12) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:07.43).

Hannah Schwarz claimed the top spot in the 50-yard backstroke (38.44).
Brady’s relay teams were unstoppable.

The 200-yard medley relay of Schwarz, Indra Iyer, Eleanor Leonard, and Levine took first in 2:35.69.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Schwarz, Neuendorf, Winkelaar, and Azok brought home another win with a time of 2:01.33.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Leonard, Neuendorf, Winkelaar, and Azok capped off the girls’ dominating night with a victory in 4:35.11.
  • On the boys side, Peter Chaisson secured a key win in the 400-yard freestyle (5:15.56), helping anchor the team’s overall success. Chaisson then teamed up with Gery Desmond, Hunter Greenberg, and Hadi Navadeh to win the 200-yard freestyle relay in 2:15.38.
    With strong performances from both squads, Brady Middle School showcased its depth, determination, and competitive spirit—setting the tone for a promising season ahead.
