Brady Middle School Sweeps Swim Meet Against Aurora Middle School

PEPPER PIKE, OH- Brady Middle School’s swim teams made a splash this week, earning victories in both the boys’ and girls’ meets against Aurora Middle School. The Bulldogs showed strong depth and teamwork across all events, highlighted by several standout performances and relay wins.
Girls Team Highlights:
The girls’ 200-yard medley relay team of Navah Levine, Indra Iyer, Ryla Marshall, and Hannah Schwarz opened the meet with an impressive win, clocking a time of 2:40.82.
Katherine Azok was dominant throughout the meet, capturing first place in the 200-yard freestyle (2:20.47) and the 50-yard breaststroke (36.27).
Iris Winkelaar had a strong showing as well, winning the 100-yard Individual Medley (1:16.00) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:06.18).
Hannah Schwarz added another victory for Brady in the 50-yard freestyle (32.67), while Haley Neuendorf took first in the 50-yard butterfly (33.92).
Eleanor Leonard contributed a key win in the 50-yard backstroke (41.39).

- Boys Team Highlights:
The boys’ team matched the girls’ success, beginning with a win in the 200-yard medley relay from Nick Yeremian, Mert Ferendeci, Hunter Greenberg, and Cole Schroer with a time of 2:53.81.
Mert Ferendeci was a key performer, winning the 100-yard Individual Medley (1:22.16) and the 400-yard freestyle (5:34.72).
Desmond Gery took the 50-yard freestyle (34.77), while Hadi Navadeh won the 50-yard butterfly (42.10).
Nick Yeremian claimed victory in the 50-yard backstroke (40.80).
The boys also dominated the relays:
200-yard freestyle relay: Matthew Novik, Toby Gofman, Cole Schroer, and David Soroka – 3:04.94
400-yard freestyle relay: Nick Yeremian, Hunter Greenberg, Desmond Gery, and Mert Ferendeci – 5:17.44
With contributions from swimmers across all events, Brady Middle School secured decisive wins for both the boys’ and girls’ teams. The Lions’ strong teamwork, speed, and determination made it a meet to remember against Aurora Middle School.
