Blue Streaks Surge Past Lions in 42–14 Victory

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH- The Orange Lions girls basketball team struggled to find its footing Saturday afternoon, falling 42–14 to a dominant Beaumont squad. The Blue Streaks seized control early, overwhelming Orange with relentless pressure and sharp execution on both ends of the floor.

Beaumont set the tone from the opening tip, racing out to a commanding lead and outscoring the Lions 36–4 in a lopsided first half. Despite improved defensive intensity from Orange after the break, the early deficit proved too steep to overcome.

Isle Osterman led the Lions with 6 points, showing determination in the paint, while Courtney Norton added 5 points in a spirited effort. Though the Lions continued to battle throughout the second half, Beaumont’s early surge ultimately paved the way to victory.

Orange looks to regroup and build on the positives as it prepares for its next matchup.
